• Drink now or keep for up to 8 years
• No decanting necessary, just uncork 15/20 minutes before serving
• Pairs with Tapas, Manchego or any cheese (cow, goat or sheep), Ibérico ham, Paté or any Spreads, Poultry, Pasta or Pizza, Legumes or Meat, all Mediterranean and Asian rice-based dishes
• Ideal at about 13 to 14 Celsius


The Garnacha Tintorera grapes for this wine come from a jewel vineyard, quite a rarity since it is a "Pie Franco vineyard" where the vines were planted 34 years ago on sand, as fine as the one from a sandy beach.  "Pie franco" means that the vines are original, indigenous, not affected by the phylloxera (or pre-phylloxera), and therefore ungrafted root stock.

The classical and somehow rustic 2017 Tintorera is a blend of Garnacha Tintorera with 25% Monastrell from a single vineyard planted 34 years ago. It has a nose of ripe black fruit, but the palate is quite lively and has freshness and focused and clean flavours. It's tasty and long, quite pleasant, easier to drink than you might think.
